Getting from the port to town and island sights
Marina and old town: taxis from the passenger terminal typically take 10–15 minutes (€15–25 ballpark — confirm on the day). A long walk from New Port is not the pleasant waterfront stroll some European ports offer.
Kourion: 20–25 minutes west by coach or taxi. Kolossi is a short inland hop on the same side of the city. Aphrodite's Rock (Petra tou Romiou): typically 40–50 minutes west along the coast. Troodos Mountains: allow 1–1.5 hours each way.
Shore excursions meet at the terminal with licensed guides and return timing. Independent multi-stop days need pre-arranged taxis and strict buffers.
